working girl

I have always been in awe of the women who work and come home to be a mother (another full time job).  It seemed to me something I could not even fathom.  I have felt the challenges of being a full-time mother are just as difficult, only different.

Now I know.  I am experiencing the working world.  I have only been working for about two and a half weeks, and already my level of wonder at those working mothers has increased.  The place I work is great, the people I work with are great, my hours are great, but I am still adjusting and appreciating more and more mothers of all varieties.

  2. Do we get any details? Is this job temporary or permanate? Full-time, part-time? What kind of work are you doing? I work very very part-time and I don't know how other moms can do both full-time! I get even more exhausted and I never want to go home and cook, haha. Thinking of you and this new part of your life! How are the boys doing with it?

  3. I'm not really sure I have all the answers to your questions yet myself. But, I can tell you I am working at a bookstore from 8-3 30 hours a week, not really full-time, but more than part-time. More entries to come on the experience itself!

  4. You're doing wonderfully, I am sure. You have always been smart about balance in your life. I am proud of you for all you have accomplished, not only as a Mom, but also as a talented, smart, and loving woman.
